CREATIVE COLLABORATION
A good team is priceless in the creative industry. Working with others is key to creating great results. Since 2017, I have frequently been a Director and Project Manager for different jobs, and I've worked closely with a personal network of local freelancers to deliver strong final products.
I have been a Creative Director for projects covering:

CREATIVE COLLABORATION
Branding
Guppy
Creative Director: Cara Paguio
Graphic Designer: Joan Lao
In 2018, Guppy needed a branding facelift. Drawing insights from my experience in the marketing and sales of the brand, I developed a vision for Guppy's rebranding. Joan and I decided to keep the original logo I created in 2014, and update the typeface and colors. The final product was a modernized beach brand with an earthy tropical palette, that resonated with Guppy's customer base.

Guppy organized a collaboration with local photographers to promote Filipino talent and scenery. The capsule collection was aptly named "Destination", and featured the photographers' works printed on limited edition swim shorts. I handled the creative direction of the launch campaign, and worked with the talented Miko Reyes to bring the vision of "wanderlust" to life with a promotional video.
This Latin American restaurant needed to highlight their location in Poblacion. I worked with the restaurant owner and freelance videographer Miko to create a fun and Latin-inspired promotional video, showcasing best selling dishes and restaurant interiors.

This 2019 client was a pair of mothers who ran an online shop selling useful knick-knacks. To make their products stand out in the sea of e-commerce, I organized a photoshoot that utilized bright primary colors and color blocking, so as to make the photos eye catching without visually overpowering the products themselves.
This 2018 Siargao-based photoshoot was the first one that I spearheaded remotely. While I was in Manila, I worked with a team in Siargao to create beach + surfing content for the swimwear brand Guppy. Communication and organization was paramount to convey the creative vision to the photoshoot team, and deliver strong products. This experience became my base-point for organizing more off-location photoshoots in the future.

To strengthen their image as a "beach brand", Guppy launched a beach party and pop-up shop in La Union. I was tasked on branding the event in a way that would resonate with the local crowd. By working with my wonderful team, and conducting on-site research, we were able to produce striking visuals for event promotions.
